Raymond Mearns has been a full time Comedian and Actor since June 2003!

He is best known for his contribution as a comedy actor in Season 1 of “Limmy’s Show”. Additionally, Raymond has also appeared in the feature films “Ae Fond Kiss” (2004) and “It’s A Free World” (2007) both directed by Ken Loach.

Additional film work has included the roles of; ‘Wee Martin’ in “Doors Open” (2012) alongside Stephen Fry and ‘Mike’ in “Limbo” (2020) directed by Ben Sharrock.

Short film success has come in the shape of “Home” (BAFTA best short winner 1999) directed by Morag McKinnon and “Tumult” (BAFTA best short nomination 2013) directed by Johnny Barrington.

Other Career Highlights include appearances in “Rab C Nesbitt”, “River City” and “Rebus” as well as his highly praised role of ‘Happy Boab’ in the BBC Scotland sitcom “Legit”.

Raymond also starred in, produced and provided some music for the feature “Next Time Ned” where he played the lead character ‘Ned Randall’ in this bitter sweet docu-drama, directed by Thomas McCue, which can be seen on Amazon Prime.
